Overview
MSK Technical Trades South Africa (Pty) Ltd was founded by experienced business professionals to address a skills shortage in the South Africa. Our aim is to encourage a dominant competitive position for South African welding products by enabling our clients to improve their productive capability. In order to achieve these objectives, we have setup a training facility in Germiston which offers courses tailored to the developmental needs of our customers. Our centre includes classroom learning as well as non-destructive testing facilities. Our core focus being our hands-on welding workshop in which up to 15 learners can practice a range of techniques. We offer courses in automatic feed welding (MIG, MAG, FCAW), stick welding (MMA) and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW / TIG) - with the ability to practice a number of varieties such as different positions, thicknesses as well as a different range of materials. Our courses are delivered by experienced, trained professionals who are able to qualify welders to the standards of ASME IX, AWS D1.1 and BS EN ISO 9606-1 and 9606-2.

Our technical trade programs are designed for different skill levels – whether an applicant has just left school or is already a qualified tradesman looking to upskill themselves. This is done through our pre-assessment conducted at the beginning of each course.
Our technical trade program, has grown from a small upstart school to one of the most established welding schools in Johannesburg. Our success is a result of our dedicated effort to incorporating the needs of students into the curriculum.
